8 weeks of Silk Amino Acid Mascara Treatment

Boo-Yay! Success!

By adding 16ml of Silk Amino Acid to my clear mascara I was able to get so much growth from my lashes. They look almost fake. I started the first week of December 2009 and I am in love with my mixture. I apply this mascara blend of SAA and JBCO to my lashes at night, every night. That's it.

Next I'm going to incooperate Buxom Eyeliner, Tarte Lash Enhancer and some SAA to my Dior Show Mascara. I'm so happy I onlyhave to have just one coat of mascara now and my lashes look great.

Day Two, Coco Vera Water Hair Treatment

Much better! I'm getting the hang of it :)

Aubrey's GPB for 15 mintues last night, following by Moroccan Oil Conditioner as a co-wash. Next can the Moroccan Oil Mask for 15 minutes, rinse. Rinse my hair with the Coco Vera Water Mix. Sectioned into 2 Pigtails. Air dry. Decided to ceramic flat iron so I added some Chi Keratin Mist, more coco vera water and flat iron my hair (V-Day preperation).

This morning I applied come JBCO to my ends and I was out the door. I pulled my hair back into a loose ponytail once at work. Hair feels soft and clean.

Day One of the Coconut Water, Aloe Vera Juice, Rose Water Hair Mixture

To put it simple I didn't like it!

Granted the weather was so God awful cold for Los Angeles, there was snow on our mountains.

This morning I didn't put my normal Shea Butter mixture in my hair. I just poured some more of my coco vera water into my hair and left out the door. I didn't add any leave in conditioners or anything, i wanted to see if this mixture would make me hair soft.

By the time I dropped my son off at the sitter, battled traffic to get downtown and walked to work in the cold my hair was starting to get fluffy and not a soft fluffy. My hair was crisp.

I know it was just day one but here's my report:
Not breakage
Not tangled
Crispy - giving my hair a different texture
Curls were not defined

Tonight I decided to go for the softness of this. I just conditioned my hair with Aussie Soft and Protect. I let it sit for 30 minutes while taking a bath in my steamy bathroom. rung out my hair with my hand and then saturated my hair with this coco vera water concotion of mine. Sectioned into two pig tails and now letting it air dry under this microfiber towel I got from curlmart.com.

In the morning I will add my shea butter mix and bun my hair. I think this Coco Vera Water isn't for styling hair but for treating it to cure it.

So far I would give this a B- but I'm going to "Make it work" - Tim Gunn

Coconut Water, Aloe Vera Juice, and Rose Water Hair Treatment

I have done my research from KISS about the benefits of Rose Water with Aloe Vera Juice.  I have tried her regimen and it some what works for me. I think that my type 4a texture hair is so far damaged that I need to kick it up a notch. So from CurlyNikki to Long hair Don't Care I have read about so many benefits of Coconut, Coconut Milk, Coconut Oil and Coconut Water.

So today I mixed 50% Coconut water, 25% Aloe Vera Juice, and 25% Rose Water from Whole foods into a bottle. I stored it in the fridge until I got home from work today. First I rubbed some pure coconut oil in my hands and applied it to the most damaged and dry parts on the hair (the crown for me). The I sectioned my hair into 3 parts (left, right and center) I pored about 1/4 cup of the mixture into each section. I twisted it in 2 sections because I like looser curls and I put some Jamaican Black Castor Oil on my edges (where to most hair lost from braid damage is). I put my plastic cap on for the night and wrapped my hair with a scarf to secure it.

My hope is to help restore my hair assist in the growth process. I'm not a very patient person, so I am trying to figure out what works best to speed up the process.

This weekend I will be creating a whip  with this mixture (just adding it to some Raw Shea Butter from Ghana). I will use that as my new cream.

I will continue to Deep Condition twice a week. No Shampoo. Seal with Shea Butter and JBCO. Treat my hair with this new mixture every other night for 2 weeks and then report back on how my hair has responded to it.
